| dc.description.abstract | The impact of student-centered learning strategies on academic achievement in Nakuru County's Naivasha Sub-County is investigated. The growing emphasis on student involvement and active learning process is what motivated this study. The goal is to find out if using student-centered learning approaches affects academic results in a way that can be measured, and in the process, to highlight the challenges encountered whilst implementing these approaches. Using a mixedmethods approach, the study will combine qualitative insights from teacher and student through administering questionnaires and quantitative analysis of academic performance data. A selection of 5 schools, 5 school principals 60 teachers and 300 students from the Naivasha Sub-County public secondary schools will be made. Exam results and student satisfaction are examples of academic performance measures that will be examined how student-centered learning impact education. The purpose of this study is to add already available about effective teaching strategies, with a focus on the Naivasha Sub-County. The findings might help educators, school administrators, and legislators understand the advantages of putting student-centered learning strategies into practice.
