The higher education landscape is undergoing a profound transformation with the integration of artificial intelligence (AI). This study, centered at Gretsa University, explores the drivers behind students’ increasing preference for using AI tools over traditional group discussions. It also examines the potential implication of this shift to their career success and employability. At Gretsa University we have seen the increasingly turning to AI-driven tools due to their convenience, personalization, privacy, and efficiency. These advantages are evident, yet questions arise regarding the impact on student’s development of vital social skills and emotional intelligence, which typically thrive in group discussion settings. Additionally, this research delves into the lasting outcomes for students who opt for AI-assisted learning. It assesses their career trajectories, employability across various sectors, and professional growth. This analysis aims to shed light on whether the choice of learning method plays a substantial role in shaping their post-graduation journey. This study contributes to a nuanced understanding of the shifting educational landscape at Gretsa University. It seeks an equilibrium between the benefits of AI integration and holistic group discussions.
