dc.description.abstract This study investigates the effects of financial technology (fintech) on the financial performance of Turkana County, Kenya. With the rapid advancement of fintech globally, its influence on the financial landscape of regions like Turkana County becomes increasingly relevant. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative analysis of financial data and qualitative examination of fintech adoption and its implications, this research aims to provide insights into how fintech initiatives have affected various aspects of financial performance in Turkana County. By examining factors such as access to financial services, efficiency gains, cost reductions, and overall economic development, this study seeks to contribute to the understanding of the role of fintech in driving financial inclusion and enhancing the financial well-being of communities in Turkana County. The findings of this research are expected to offer valuable implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders involved in fostering sustainable development through the integration of fintech solutions in emerging economies like Turkana County. en_US
