dc.description.abstract Over the past few years, guest average stay has been attraction of many researches and hoteliers in many hotels. In the light of this, a considerable number of hotels attempt to apply cultural attraction practices in their establishments. While the cultural attraction types are well developed in Machakos Town specifically Gardens Hotel, guest stay is quite inadequate since it depends on the common languages and avoiding of nationalism among the employees and locals within Machakos Town because it enables guests to feel comfortable when they visit hotel. This study analyzed the types of cultural interactions, effects of cultural interactions on guest motivation and effects of cultural interaction on the average sales in garden Hotel in Machakos Town. The targeted group was the hotel resident guests, the study adopted a descriptive model, and the sampling involved simple random sampling. Data was collected using structured questionnaires, the target population was approximately 30. Data was analyzed using SPSS Version 20 and presented in graphs and pie charts. The expected result was that cultural interaction would be accepted, promoted and practiced by both the community members and employees.
