dc.description.abstract This research project aims to investigate the optimization of Ncomputing and its impact on e-waste management in private universities in Kenya, with a case study of Strathmore University and Gretsa University. The project will evaluate the performance, scalability, security, virtualization, and cost of Ncomputing in comparison to traditional computing systems. The research will utilize a mixed-method approach, including a survey of IT personnel, interviews with key stakeholders, and a technical analysis of the Ncomputing system. The findings of this study will contribute to the understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of Ncomputing in higher education institutions and provide recommendations for the adoption and management of this technology in a sustainable manner. en_US
