dc.description.abstract Wireless network is the method by which homes, telecommunication networks and business installation avoid the costly process of introducing cables into a building, or as a connection between various equipment locations.Despite the wireless network being in existence since 1970, its efficiency has not been considered. With wireless network being the current network at Gretsa University, there is need to review its effectiveness and the critical factors that affect the efficiency of the wireless network. The objective of this research will be to determine the critical factors that affect the efficiency of wireless network at Gretsa University.Physical obstruction, poor deployment of antennas and network usage and load are some of the factors affecting the efficiency of wireless network at Gretsa University. Questionnaires will be administered to students and IT experts to gather information on the transmission speed of the wireless network and measures to be put in place to improve its efficiency. The research aims at giving Gretsa University a solution to ineffective performance of its wireless network. Data collected in research will be analyzed using SPSS software. en_US
