dc.description.abstract In spite of the numerous sufficient benefits of Information and Communication Technology in the hotel industry competitiveness, the point to which it is being used to shape a spot in the hospitality industry still not clear. A variety of research has been established that firms which manipulate Information and Communication Technology and product differentiation construct an environment where Information and Communication Technology has a colossal might in the business field however, not any has paying attention on the efficacy of Information and Communication Technology in generating competitive advantage within the selected hotels in Naivasha, and how to imaginatively and strategically use it. Hence the main purpose of this study will be to scrutinize the efficacy of Information and Communication Technology in generate competitive advantage in selected hotels in Nakuru County. The study will anchor on Porters theory of competitive advantage theory. The study will adopt descriptive research design. The study will target 3-5 star-rated hotels. A sample size of 40 employee’s selected using purposive sampling from 6 selected hotels will be used. Questionnaire will be used for data collection. en_US
